Poetry Meets Art is back! Carpe Diem brings you the freshest new thing in Poetry & Spoken word: live interpretion of poetry by artists and YOU! Expect abstract, weird and random......
Featuring the one and only power house that is Zena Edwards - yeah you read right Zena Edwards, the dynamic, fiery and extremely energetic Errol McGlashan and hold up, wait a minute.....gracing us with his presence we have Nathaniel Nye - lyrical genius and conscious 'edutainer' so get ready people!
This wonderful event which is the beginning of many more to come will also raise awareness on the Congo conflict and our involvement - technology and minerals. But don't worry it's not all doom and gloom, quite the opposite! A speaker from the beautiful land that is Congo will be there to enlighten us on how we can make better choices within technology to make the lives of the Congolese better and bring an end to the conflict. There'll be poetry quizzes with fab prizes up for grabs so make sure you stay tuned in!
