Apples and Snakes presents
Big Talk

A carnival of spoken word and poetry with open mic, national guest poets and poetry films. A chance to experience some of the most engaging, insightful and entertaining poets in the UK sharing their wit and wisdom in the intimate and atmospheric setting of the Tom Thumb Theatre.

Featuring:
Raymond Antrobus
Raymond has won many performance awards, including the Farrago International Slam and the Farrago Best Performance award 2010. He is a founding member of Chill Pill, the formidable London-based performance poetry collective and has featured at events and festivals all over the UK and Europe. He writes moving and entertaining poems that are bound to give you goose bumps.

Stewart Taylor
A keen observer of life, Stewart explores contemporary issues with sensitivity and subtlety, then makes up funny rhymes and says them out loud.
Joint winner of the Hammer and Tongue Oxford slam, and winner of the Archimedes Screw Showcase, Stewart is perhaps most proud of his O level English Lit. (Grade B).
