David grew up in Newlyn and Sancreed, went to school in Penzance, and currently works in Oxford as a research fellow in English at the university, IHe still comes back to Cornwall very regularly. His poems have been published in numerous magazines, including London Magazine, Poetry Daily, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Review, PN Review, Poetry Wales, The Reader, Rialto and Stand, His first collection appeared in 2010 with Shearsman Books, and he was included in that year’s Forward Book of Poetry.
