Agnes has an established reputation both nationally and internationally​. She is a regular and prize winner, at the Austin International Poetry Festival and has held residences and workshops across the UK as well as Palestine and Singapore. She has been a poetry advisor for Channel 4 and is on the board of Apples and Snakes and the Poetry Book Society. Agnes has five published poetry collections, the last published by Flipped Eye/Waterways, and a CD, she also hosts Loose Muse, London’s premier event for women writers which has recently received an Arts Council award. Agnes is currently working on her first novel.


Cornish poet Sue Johns now lives in London and is a veteran of the performance circuit. Sue began writing and performing as a ‘punk poet’ and one of her earliest gigs was at the St Ives Festival. She has performed at readings and festivals around the country, including The Edinburgh Festival, both solo and with Dodo Modern Poets. Sue also writes and performs theatrical monologues. At this year’s festival she leaves her alter egos at home and reads poetry from her latest collection Hush (Morgan’s Eye Press, 2011) along with new work.
