POEM magazine invites you to celebrate our launch at Europe House. Please come and enjoy a reading by Sean O'Brien, whose poems will be featured in our first issue! Entry is free, but you must RSVP to POEMmagazine@yahoo.co.uk

POEM is a new quarterly international poetry magazine edited by Fiona Sampson, and backed by an advisory board of leading poets from the UK, America and Europe. We aim to publish the very best poetry either written in, or translated into English, whether it comes from award winning poets or newly emerging talent.

Sean O'Brien: Celebrated for his portrayals of the urban, rural, social and political landscapes of the North of England, prizes O'Brien has accumulated over his near 40 year career include the Forward Poetry Prize for Best Collection and the T. S. Eliot Prize.
