Open Mic Event

Spoken Worlds is a free, friendly Spoken Word event which started in November 2009.
The venue is an upstairs room at a real ale pub close to Burton station
Performers can opt for up to three appearances at the mic as the event is delivered in three "halves" with good breaks for chat and networking.
Burton-on-Trent is on the border of East and West Midlands, and the event is a great place to meet other poets, storytellers, sketch writers, and spoken word performers from both areas and beyond.
There is an honesty box when we have one of our (very) occasional guest readers.
