Michael Longley is one of the major Irish poets of the last 50 years, bringing a musical sense to his themes of love, war and the natural world.
Leontia Flynn was born in 1974. One of the leading younger Irish poets, she has published three collections, including These Days, which won the 2004 Forward Prize.
