I have an invite you surely won’t refuse: come and celebrate Leicester launches for recent publications by two of the UK’s most innovative poets, Geraldine Monk, and Alan Halsey.
Geraldine Monk’s Lobe Scarps & Finials, “crackles with oppositions: between the individualism of lyric utterance and the political context in which it takes place”(Paul Bachelor).
Alan Halsey’s Even if Only Out Of, includes a quarrelsome symposium on Blake’s erotica, a tale of post-imperial commerce, and some skips & charms against recession.
