Pigbaby: The 2011 Brighton Poetry Festival continues on 23rd November as Ciaran O'Driscoll, Hugo Williams and Kay Syrad treat us to their fine words. On the page, O'Driscoll comes across as an impressive exponent of dry humour and philosophical conceit, but seeing him perform his work in the flesh proves to be an unforgettable experience, since O'Driscoll is an unrivalled master of the power of the spoken word to enthrall and captivate.

Kay Syrad is a compelling literary voice whose poetry evidences a mastery of the nuances of rhythm and pace couple with the ability to convey a luminous sense of the tactile and atmospheric with a few choice words.

Hugo Williams' funny and beautiful poetry reveals the complexity of the plainly-stated human emotion and has seen him win several national awards including two T.S. Eliot prizes. A charismatic and memorable performer, his presence means you'd be foolish not to join us on the night.

With capacity limited you are invited to buy your tickets in advance, entitling you to reserved seats.
