Simon Rennie is the founder of the legendary 'INN VERSE' Open Mic night and an old WOL regular.

Simon's well-received first collection, Little Machines, was published by Knives, Forks & Spoons Press in 2009 and he is now launching his second, Unless Otherwise Stated. He is currently studying for his PhD at the University of Leeds, researching the poetry of the great Chartist leader & poet, Ernest Jones.

Steph Pike is a poet who has performed extensively across the North-West. She is the Sheffield Grand Dame of Slam 2011. Her poetry combines politics, passion and lyrical imagery. She has been published in several anthologies and her first collection of poetry, Full of the Deep Bits, was published by Knives, Forks & Spoons Press in 2010.
