There’s another new 2 hour mix of material in The Loop on Radio Wildfire – Now playing 24/7 a completely new selection of stories, satires, poetry, spoken word, music and interview @ www.radiowildfire.com - another two hours of live literature and chat.

Featuring:
Interviews - when Derrick D talks to writer and poet Gareth Wood; and Dave Reeves gets into conversation with George Harwick from Leamington's poetry venue PGR.

More Poetry - from Gareth Wood, this time accompanied on bass by Mick Jeynes; Stephanie Spiers with the Carers Rap; Sarah Delroy with Assorted Needles and Get your Coat; Garrie Fletcher with Drawn from Memory; and the full production piece Four Phenomenal Dancers from Mark Goodwin.

Live performance of Prose - from Tom Sykes, in a recording made live at The Halo, Bristol; and a story from Gareth recorded while he was in the Radio Wildfire studio.

Storytelling - from Jen Ward and Joe White, young storytellers from Shropshire who are working with MythStories, the Museum of Myth & Fable.

Music - with Generation in a Deadline from the excellent band from Jakarta, LunariaN; and Grace, an instrumental from Ben Macnair.

There's also a brief preview of both the Birmingham Book Festival and of the Warwick Words festival, both of which run in October.

PLUS: we have Roy Mcfarlane's Laureate's Diary, from Birmingham's current Poet Laureate Roy Mcfarlane, exclusive to Radio Wildfire.
