SAGE & TIME'S AUGUST SERVING

This event on 24th August 2011 has past.

Open Mic Event

Venue: opposite Smithfield Market - less than 3 mins from both Barbican and Farringdon tube.

SAGE & TIME presents more rhythms and rhymes… How could we possibly follow last month’s magnificence? We’ll tell you how:

ZORRAS, in short, can be described as “poetry-music-video-weirdness fusion with megaphones” but we believe that an adequately comprehensive account is nigh on impossible...you just have to witness them for yourself! However, we will say this, they are one of the very best acts SAGE & TIME has ever featured and are the first act to bless the S&T stage for a (full featured) second time! NUFF SAID!

DAVID LEE MORGAN’s eclectic background explains the richness of his poetry: Born in Berlin, grown in Seattle and now residing in London and now travelling the northern hemisphere as a street musician and performance poet. David has won countless poetry competitions, including the 2010 Farrago UK Slam Championship and never fails to poetically enlighten.

PLUS (as if that wasn’t enough!), LIMITED OPEN MIC SPOTS of up to 5 minutes. If you want to be a vocal part of the poetical revelry, either post on this wall or message/email Anna Le by Midnight Monday 22nd August.

Be there or…NO! JUST BE THERE!

Price: £3.00

Time: 7:00pm for 7:30pm
