Bring us your poems, possums! We are very friendly and you can have a go at reading your stuff and feel SAFE.
With featured sets (TBC) from:
Wild Merttens, Al Cummings and Lydia Beardmore. plus BRILLIANT blues music from Ben Sayer.
Sign up by 8.30 to be guaranteed an open mic performance slot! Just speak to the lady with the clipboard upon arrival. It's a very relaxed and considerate atmosphere, so if you've been nervous about reading aloud, this is a good chance to change that.
Overseeing the proceedings are undoubtedly the world's worst compares, Liz Greenfield and Sally Jenkinson, guaranteed to make you look good! there'll be featured sets from poets and musicians there'll be an open mic too (its a really friendly and encouraging atmosphere) here are things that are unconfirmed (trying to arganise poets is like herding cats isnt it?!)
