Utter!' at Enabling Haringey's UN Day of Disabled Persons


In Jazz Cafe at Venue

An inclusive, open and FREE-to-all workshop and then performance as part of Enabling Haringey's UN Day of Disabled Persons, this year themed 'Mainstreaming Disability'.

3.15-4.15pm: Writing workshop with Richard Tyrone Jones on the theme 'Mainstreaming disability'. You need not consider yourself disabled to take part!

4.30-5.30pm: T-shirt making workshop, incorporating some of your writing!

6.00-7.30pm: 'Utter!' special featuring t...he writings produced in the workshops plus special guest poets Raymond Antrobus of Chill Pill, host Richard Tyrone Jones and singer-songwriter Paul Hawkins (more TBC).
'prepare to be left speechless by the tongues of these capable bards' (Three Weeks magazine, August 2010).

After that, there's a free club night till 1030pm!

Buses include the W4 or 123 from Tottenham High Road, Bruce Grove or Wood Green/Turnpike Lane.

The venue is ground floor and wheelchair accessible, but those with partcular access needs should contact Mhairi McGhee of Enabling Haringey on 0208 885 4705 or mhairi@hwfonline.org.uk so we can adapt the workshop & events so you can take part!
