Launch Night

In Lloyd's #1 Bar

Poetry Devas launch night is bringing slamming to the Chester poetry scene. Whether you are an established performance poet, a first timer, or a poetry voyeur; all are welcome. Wow us with your words, stun us with your similes and dazzle us with your stanzas; poets we need you!

Our launch night will have a theme of 'World Cup 2010', and whether you love football, aspire to be a WAG, or simply want to vent your views on how the beautiful game takes over our TV screens, we know you will have something to say.

Themed dress is welcome - be creative! There will also be main prizes and a little momento for everyone who takes part.

Poets will have 4 minutes to woo the crowd; to book your slot email: poetrydevas@hotmail.co.uk

Audience participation is integral to this event - you'll be the judges, X-Factor stylee, your input is vital to crowning Poetry Deva's poet for June!

Entry: Free!
