Martha Kapos: won the Jerwood/Aldeburgh Prize for Best First Collection for her book, "My Nights in Cupid's Palace" (Enitharmon, 2003), which also received a PBS Special Commendation. Her most recent collection, "Supreme Being" (Enitharmon, 2008) was a PBS Recommendation.
Born in America, Martha came to London for a gap year following her Classics degree from Harvard and never returned. She taught for many years in the Art History Department of the Chelsea College of Art before becoming Assistant Poetry Editor of Poetry London.

Inua Ellams: author of the critically acclaimed best selling "Thirteen Fairy Negro tales", is a word and graphic artist who fell for visual art and worked solely in this field until starting writing in his late teens.
Striving to merge both disciplines and inspired by classic lit and hip-hop culture, his image-rich work mixes archaic language and sentence structure with contemporary diction, loose rhythm and rhyme. He took his first play, "The 14th Tale" to Edinburgh in 2009, where it was awarded a Fringe First. After a successful national tour, it also had a run at the National earlier this year.

Heather Phillipson: poems have appeared in magazines and anthologies. She received an Eric Gregory Award in 2008 and a Faber New Poets Award in 2009. Her pamphlet is published by Faber and Faber. Alongside her poetry, Heather is also an artist and exhibits nationally and internationally, with recent shows in London, Paris and New York. She has received awards, commissions and residencies, including the Sir Leslie Joseph Young Artist Award 2009, Artist in Residence at London College of Fashion 2008-09, Artist in Residence at Aberystwyth Arts Centre 2010, and is currently participating in the ICA's artist mentoring programme 2010.
