The Blue Curtain brings theatre to the pub. Sit back and enjoy extracts, monologues and short plays from North West writers. Featuring Mia Darlone’s ‘Below The Belt’, a comedy examining the joys of incorporating an array of fun objects into your sex
life, such as musical instruments, root vegetables and everyone’s favourite... the horse.
Dave Morgan (and friends) present ‘Hovis In Wonderland’, an extract for his play celebrating one of the North West’s best loved poets, Hovis Presley (1960-2005),
noted for his down to earth humour and ability to fill a unique spot between the worlds of stand-up, performance poetry and alternative cabaret.
