Candymouth Cultural Festival, written and performed by Julian Daniel, Tony Kinsella, Jeff Downs, Zoe Iqbal and Claire Trivino, special guest MC Steve Porter. To celebrate Candymouth's selection as European Town of Culture for June 2009, the Candymouth Royal Amateur Players (CRAP) present a section of sketches followed by a cultural cabaret, featuring Urban Herman the Street Poet, the Tweezer Sisters, the Bootleg Mark Chapmans, Rod Shepherd conpiracy theorist, Economy Elvis, the Pound Shop Quartet, Geri from Bury's bonkbuster biography, Poxy the graffiti artist and a guest spot from the new female-Scottish-leftie-lesbian poet laureate Carol McScruffy, sticking the boot in to all things Royal.
