Open Mic Poetry and Spoken Word hosted by Tony Curry.
Presented by Flapjack Press & Manchester Libraries.
A free event every month at Manchester Central Library, St Peter's Square, Manchester M2 5PD.

Next event: Tues 25th January 2022, 6pm - 8pm (doors 5.45pm).
Our special guest is beat-inspired performance poet Ben Willems.
Ben has featured in numerous publications, including Citizen 32, The Recusant, Beatification and Some Roast Poet, as well as appearing in Flapjack Press's The People's Republic of Mancunia. Since 2013, he has been working on a collection of poems for all of Greater Manchester's railway stations and expects this to be finished around 2040.

NB Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer. Slots are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis from the stated booking day. If they are already filled you will be offered a space on the reserve list.
