Dreading Slam is a friendly, open mic poetry competition, we welcome poets of all standards, as well as any audience who want the chance to appreciate live poetry. Having a competition, is this encourages the poet to perform work which connects with the audience.
Each poets reads 2 of their own poems (max 3 minutes) these are scored out of ten by three members of the audience who have volunteered to be judges. Top three poets qualify for a final, to find the best poet in Berkshire (for a few weeks).
Dreading Slam meets on the First Sunday of each month at 19:30.
Entry: Free

There is no event of January 1st. Insted our fianl, the grand slam is on Jan 8th .
this is a reapeat event (first Sunday of each month I have not found out how to block a single event.
