Scribblers ahoy!
Our next gathering is on Sunday, 1st March, St David's Day.
I've booked the drawing room (back room) on the first floor of The Eagle and Child, High Petergate, York, from 5.30 to 8.30 in the evening.
I've not yet been told to be prepared to move to the top floor (the pub can be incredibly popular), but please be prepared for that.
No guest writer or publisher has been invited to give a presentation. The workshop will be dedicated entirely to your work, so please bring along anything literary (or a song/lyric) of your making that you want to share or want a second opinion on or help with.
Please try to bring 3 or 4 paper copies of your work, not to exceed 2,000 words or 4 sides of A4, and £2 if you're waged, otherwise £1.
A writing exercise may be introduced to enliven the proceedings, but please be assured that your work takes pride of place!
For anyone in need of inspiration,check out the daffodils flowering outside the walls of York and around Cliffords Tower.
