“Revealing the Hidden Wisdom of Poetry”
An analysis on K.P.Kavafis’ poem “God Forsake Anthony”

Poetry that touches our soul and our divine essence; that moves, inspires and uplifts us.
Omilos Eksipiretiton (The Servers’ Society) invites poetry enthusiasts and not only, to a poetic evening at Morley College, 61 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7HT on Friday 8th November 2019, at 7:00pm.
Poets, authors, and the public alike are welcomed to join us in the reading and analysis of “God Forsake Anthony”, by the renowned Greek Poet, K.P Kavafis.
The evening will see us journey through the poem using a new and unique method. A method that connects the daily with the eternal, the human with the divine, the “microcosm” with the “macrocosm.” Through the small and limited the method leads us to the great and infinite, bringing to light the hidden wisdom of every literary work.
The event will be presented in English.
Admission is free but guests are encouraged to book in advance via Eventbrite, via email at info@omilos-eksipiretiton.gr or telephone on 07960 797 435.
