The September Poem and a Pint will feature the Prizewinners from the 2nd Annual Poem and a Pint Poetry Competition and guest poet CARRIE ETTER, from Illinois and Bath, who was competition judge. The a capella group SASS of Lancaster will provide the music. Amongst the prizewinners are: Maggie Reed, Kerry Darbyshire and Clare Proctor, poets well known in the Cumbrian poetry world. Come out and support them, and enjoy too the exploration of climate change in Carrie Etter's latest collection: The Weather in Normal, a Poetry Book Society recommendation. A Poem and a Pint is supported b the Hadfield Trust.
