A fusion of poetry, live music and theatre from 2017 winners of the Buxton Fringe Spoken Word Award, based on interviews with women working in the music industry. A tale of growing up, finding a voice and listening to Joni Mitchell records.
Join poet Genevieve Carver and her multi-instrumental live band (Ruth Nicholson, Tim Knowles and Brian Bestall) for a celebration of music and exploration of creativity and womanhood. Includes themes of confidence, female working relationships, toxic masculinity and mental health, and genres from soul to electronica, classical and pop.
Performed in a geodesic dome in the beautiful Pavillion Gardens.
