Saili Katebe smashed the stage at last year’s Cheltenham Poetry Festival slam and is our reigning champion. He’s a spoken word artist who is rapidly gaining fame for his electrifying and potent performances.
R M Francis is the author of Transitions; (The Black Light Engine Room, 2015) Orpheus; (Lapwing Publications, 2016) Corvus’ Burnt-wing Love Balm and Cure-All; (The Black Light Engine Room Press, 2018) and Lamella (Original Plus Chapbooks, 2019). In 2020 Smokestack Books will publish his first full length collection. His poems have been likened to those of Whitman and Ginsberg and he has been described as ‘a writer of true grit’.
