Entry: £5 otd - slammers go free
Contact: facebook or twitter is best
Milk is Bristol's Cult Poetry night and was recently voted one of the best spoken word nights in the UK by Picador Books.
We run a more intimate monthly event alongside our Quarterly Tobacco Factory shows, here we bring you two outstanding headliners from around the country as well as hosting the most gosh-darn friendly slam there is.
We always want people to share their voices and stories and for everyone to be given a platform regardless of who they are, our slam allows poets to give us their best words and the chance to win a 10 minute slot at the next months milk just to give us a chance to hear all the lovely words that someone can come up with.
We're on every 3rd Monday of the Month at the Room Above and, if slams arent your thing, we have regular open mic nights with one of Bristol's other Poetry Nights at the Crofters Rights- you can check out our facebook or twitter page for details of our acts coming up.
We'd love you see you there sometime.
Time: 7:30pm (Doors half an hour before start)
