Striking back against the turmoil faced within the current economic climate Ken Loach's latest film "I Daniel Blake" was far more than a piece of fiction, actively displaying how society has changed over the past few years, with the loss of thousands of jobs sinking a whole nation into a state of desperation, depression and poverty.
With hostility within the benefits system, food-banks becoming
the norm and a significant rise in homelessness as people find themselves facing having to result in pay day loans to survive.
Austerity is sending not only those on benefits further into poverty but the working classes left struggling on the breadline as zero hour contracts leave the country spiralling into a landscape of deprivation and no hope.

Now in support of the We Shall Overcome movement Tony Andrews is proud to announce the launch of the anthology "We Shall Overcome!" which uses the creative medium of poetry as a voice to send a message of support and hope to the most vulnerable in society.
