A new series of Thursday evenings of Poetry and Music begin with Wakefield Poet, Jimmy Andrex. Jimmy appeared at the very first Purple Room evening in April 2016, with fellow writers from The Red Shed Readings, Wakefield, performing the poem-cycle "Cresties". As well as performing at Wakefield Litfest and the Ilkley Literature Festival, he appeared in Twisted Tongue at this year's Edinburgh Fringe to great critical acclaim.
Guest musician, Robert J Langley, is based in Leeds and will be sharing the extraordinarily beautiful sounds of his lute with us.
