To open the Essex Poetry Festival Mervyn Linford will be the guest reader at poetrywivenhoe. The Wivenhoe group will aslo be reading from their Freedom Poems competition. There is usually an 'out of the hat' open mic session but as it's a special evening I'm not sure whether or not that will be the case on this particular occasion.
