A pair of our finest contemporary poets read and discuss their work at an event presented in partnership with the Centre for New Writing. Sinéad Morrissey was named the inaugural Belfast Poet Laureate in 2014, and is the author of six collections including There Was Fire in Vancouver, Parallax and Selected Poems. Her new collection On Balance is a 2017 Poetry Book Society Choice and explores feats of engineering, questions about family and inheritance, and the impact of a changing climate. Sinead will be joined by Vona Groake and Douglas Dunn.
