John Hegley became interested when local folk lorist, Pat Pickles, who made a book of postcards of the 'Kinsley evictions', contacted him. He wrote a poem inspired by the story and will share it at this speical one off event at Hemsworth Library.

Alongside his Kinsley contribution, John will also perform other pieces on social themes along with some poems and songs about dogs and potatoes.

Part of Wakefield Lit Fest, Talking Loud and Saying Summat.
