Join independent publisher Penned in the Margins to celebrate the launch of Amaan Hyder’s debut poetry collection, At Hajj. In a book that flickers between poetry and prose, we are taken on the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, experience the searing heat and crowds of Saudi Arabia, and explore the isolation of immigration. Travelling between forms and continents, Hyder presents a bustling and poignant debut on family, religion and the weight of tradition.
