Open Mic Event
Contact: poetsprattlerspandemonialists@gmail.com
A monthly poetry and spoken word night upstairs at the Pretty Bricks, a CAMRA pub. Free entry – we'll be passing the hat round – with a headline poet and open-mic spots each night. Hosts Emma Purshouse, Steve Pottinger, and Dave Pitt.
Plenty of on-street parking, or a few minutes walk from Walsall train and bus stations. See you there!

We kick off 2019 with a headline set from the effervescent (and ever so slightly cheeky) Rick Sanders, aka Willis The Poet. The man behind the Brum Radio Poetry show, the Caffe Grande Slam in Dudley, and more manbags than you can shake a stick at.
'Alf Ender is our very own Emma Purshouse, who should be promoting her wonderful new collection 'Close' but is far too self-effacing to do it. Please embarrass her by coming along and buying a copy. Thanks.
Entry: free
Time: 7:00pm
