Open Mic Event

Contact: antonychristie@aol.com

An evening of poetry and music. The event features poet James Sheard, who teaches Creative Writing at Keele University. His most recent collection, The Abandoned Settlements, published this January, deals with the literal and metaphorical abandoned places of life and the ghosts that haunt them. Our musician, Dawn Foster, is a talented young singer-songwriter who sings and plays the violin in solo gigs and with the band Room Full of Mirrors. There are six open mic slots, sign up at the door.

Time: 7.30 p.m.
