John Hughes teaches literature at the University of Gloucestershire and has published widely, particularly on Thomas Hardy and William Wordsworth. In this enlightening and interactive poetry-appreciation class, you will have the chance to revisit a number of well-known poems and, under John's expert guidance and in discussion, to discover more in them than you may have realized.  You will leave with a greater understanding of how to analyse poetry.
