Come and join Winston Plowes for poetry fun and games as part of Texperiments, an on-going creative writing project via text messages across Calderdale. Winston is bringing together poets young and old, experienced and beginner to make surreal, beautiful and peculiar short poems. Inspired by The Surrealist poets he is bringing Texperiments live to the cosy home of Mytholmroyd library on Friday afternoon 3:30 - 6pm. But he will we need your help to make it all happen. Pop in on your way through the valley. Just bring yourself, your mobile phone and a vivid imagination. Lack of poetry experience an advantage.
You can also text POET and your name (or pen name) to our hotline 07768 108 262 to take part via text message.
Winston will curate the poems which will be displayed both online and in Hebden Bridge Library to celebrate its full reopening.
