The Poetry Cafe continues in 2018 usually on the second Wednesday (7-30 for 8) of each month except August throughout the year. Special events on National and World Poetry Days

Guest Poet: Susan Evans
Twice nominated Best Spoken Word Performer; (Saboteur Awards, 2016 and 2017), London born and Brighton based performance poet, Susan Evans, is a regular featured artist on the spoken word circuit across the UK, from the Royal Festival Hall to the festival tent. A stage and page poet, she is widely published in numerous independent magazines, journals and anthologies, most recently in Paper Swan’s `Best of British’ (2017). Guest Poet Blue Sky Chaser
writes on love, life, and society. She is published and performs around the South East. She runs creative writing projects for young people and co-founded Platform, Eastbourne’s Spoken Word and Acoustic night
for lyricists and poets. Her style is honest, raw and accessible, exposing the emotional torment and frustration of life.
