South Bank Poetry , Summer Issue Launch Readings

This event on 31st July 2015 at 19:45 has past.

Contact: 020 7420 9888

Admission fee: £6.50/£5.50 Concessions(incl. Poetry Society members) includes a copy of SBP 21 (cover price £4.50)

Hosted by Katherine Lockton and Peter Ebsworth

This is our 21st Issue, and a ' coming of age' one, so it will be a bit of a party at which everyone attending gets a prize, and something sweet until they run out, as well as the chance to listen to lots of brilliant readers, including: Dominic Fisher, Stav Poleg, Oliver Comins, Joolz Sparkes, Chip Hamer, Hilaire, Elizabeth McHale, Chris Hardy, Tim Kiely, Benedict Newbery, Kathryn Southworth, Melanie Mauthner, Nick Alldridge, Paul Cockburn, Sian Williams and Roy Lockett.

Our launches are also important fund-raisers for our independently run magazine ( and all of the adverts in this issue have been included free - indeed, one has actually cost us money to include) so we want readers and supporters of the magazine to invite friends and relatives, whose entry fee includes a copy of the magazine to remember the event. We will also be revealing some exciting news about an extended programme of SBP events, beginning in August and September.

We do hope you'll be able to make it on Friday and can guarantee you'll enjoy it.

Peter Ebsworth and Katherine Lockton
Co-editors of South Bank Poetry magazine
