Leake Street, a tunnel underneath Waterloo Station, is a place where you're legally permitted to write & draw on the walls. So let's!

Assemble 7-8pm in the tunnel, from 8 we'll be poetrying and spraypainting until we stop. We've got three awesome features:

The Repeat Beat Poet, aka Peter DeGraft-Johnson (PJ) is a poet based in London with a taste for the everyday wonders of the world. Often political, always rhythmic, and meticulously crafted, his poetry is heavy with knowledge and abstract concepts and is underpinned by an honest vulnerability and emotion in his writing. PJ is also part of the TypeFace Poetry Collective and president of the English PEN Society at UEL, where he is studying English Literature.

Alexander Woodward read Classics at Royal Holloway where he wrote and performed stand-up comedy and was accused of banging on about theatre. He is an artistic associate at By Jove Theatre, for whom he has acted, edited, and written. He started writing poetry simply to help him sleep, and sharing it with audiences seems to be going rather well. Certainly audiences laugh in the right places, and those few who do cry assure him that they enjoyed his set.

And Caroline Teague just is!

Your humble droogs Iris Colomb and Jason Pilley will be bringing along a few cans of spraypaint but feel free to bring some yourself too...
