Fiona Templeton, Pele Cox, Peter Stickland and Anthony Howell

Fiona Templeton is a poet and director of the performance group, The Relationship, in New York. Her numerous books include most recently The Medead, a 6-part epic cycle of Medea, performed with multiple voices at Roulette Brooklyn in 2012. Other works include YOU-The City a one-to-one work that pioneered the genre of the performance journey, created in New York, London and various European cities in the late 80s; L’iIle, a staging of the dreams of the people of Lille in the sites dreamt of, commissioned for the opening of Lille 2004; and Cells of Release, an installation in an abandoned prison, in collaboration with Amnesty International. All 3 of these are published by Roof. She was an original member of The Theatre of Mistakes with Anthony Howell in the 70s. She runs the MA in Contemporary Performance at Brunel University.

Pele Cox After graduating from her Masters in Creative Writing at UEA tutored by Andrew Motion, Pele Cox has since been the Poet in Residence at Tate modern (2007) and Poet in Residence at the Royal Academy of Arts (2010- 2012). Her three sell-out performances at the Royal Academy were created specially in response to the exhibitions: 'Van Gogh and Poetry, 'Degas and The Dance' and 'Hockney and His Poetic Imagination.' her last performance; 'Obscuring the Word' was presented to Royal Academicians as a tribute to Cy Twombly. In 2013 she was commissioned to create a series of site specific events around the idea of poetry and influence at Keats' house in Rome; 'Unbound' and 'Lift Me Up, I am Dying'; a poetic drama on the death of Keats. Last year she lectured at the Walker Art Gallery on David Hockney and Cavafy. Her last performance of 'The Mistress Account' was given special commendation at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. She will be giving a sequence of summer readings of the poem this year at 'The Room', Ledbury Poetry Festival and again at Cheltenham.
Her events, poetry and workshops have been featured in The Sunday Times, The RA magazine, Tate and London Magazine and Financial Times.

Peter Stickland Designer, writer, performer, installation artist and narrator. He joined the The Theatre of Mistakes in the mid 70’s. With them he made artwork throughout the UK, Europe and in New York. He has performed solo in London, New York and Tokyo. He has been a Principal Lecturer @ Chelsea College of Arts – from 1992 to the present day. He qualified as an architect from the Architectural Association in 1974 and has worked on a variety of projects including museum interiors, historic refurbishments and numerous domestic refurbishments in London. More recently he has published novels, lyrical texts, radio plays and books on the creative process with his own company. www.77books.co.uk
