Harriet Reading Series: Lecture by Jon Leon

The Harriet Reading Series features talks, performances, and readings by poets whose work has appeared on Harriet, the Poetry Foundation’s blog. The series presents both established and emerging poets whose writing finds innovative approaches to the craft of poetry.

As an independent writer and critic, Jon Leon has written profiles, articles, essays, reviews, interviews, poems, and literary work for numerous magazines and journals. His work has received critical attention in Vice, Frieze, Bomb, Bidoun, and elsewhere. He is the author The Malady of the Century (2012), Elizabeth Zoë Lindsay Drink Fanta (2011), The Hot Tub (2009), and a number of privately issued titles and special editions. His solo exhibition, The Coral, ran from July 28 through September 30, 2013, at the Finley Gallery in Los Angeles. His new writing is forthcoming from New York–based art book publisher Karma and from Le Consortium, Dijon.
