Poetry Writing Workshop with Tom Roby & Jenene Ravesloot
Narrative and Imagery in a Two Part Poem.
This poetry workshop will explore narrative text and imagery to create a two part poem. We will begin with a free write that will culminate in a free verse narrative and at least one brief imagistic short poem. Members of the group will be encouraged to engage with the natural world, or other topics they may find of interest. Jenene Ravesloot and her husband, Tom Roby IV, have lead writing workshops at various Chicago Universities and at The Chicago Public Library.
