**FAT ROLAND**

Fat Roland is a writer, performer and host of Manchester live literature night Bad Language. He comprises one fifth of the Flashtag Writers, who curate the Short Short Story Slam, and is exactly one hundred per cent of the techno outfit Hounds Of Hulme. Peirene Press called his short stories "touching, sharp, original and weird. It is refreshing to see a writer who dares to play with the surreal." He is the author of two self-published collections, only one of which contains a buffalo mirage, and as a columnist for Electronic Sound he bangs on a lot about Aphex Twin.

**STEVE SCOTT**

Steve is one of our favourite prose writers in Sheffield and has been appearing in the pages of Now Then since its inception back in 2008. He's had several collections of his own work published including 'Researching Oblivion' and toured widely across the UK and Europe.

'The working class voices here are jagged and often dark with despair but there is more real feeling here than in many of the grittier than grit novels and more talent as well.' -The Guardian.

**CHARLOTTE ANSELL**

Charlotte is a performance poet who has had two poetry collections published with Flipped Eye; ‘you were for the poem’ (2003) and ‘After Rain’ (2008) and is currently working on a long overdue third. She has a forthcoming CD ‘if you know what I mean’ due out with Paper Boat Poets (comprising other local poets Gav Roberts, Genevieve Carver and Matt McAteer)

Her poetry has been described as ‘cutting to the literary bone” -Shortfuse

**ANDY COOK**

Andy Owen Cook has a BA in English Literature with Creative Writing, was a finalist for Contact Theatre's Flying Solo commission, a Roundhouse Poetry Slam runner up and has been published by Black & BLUE and The New Fire Tree Press. He is a member of Forest Sounds Theatre and runs www.PoetrySMS.co.uk.
