Stirred Poetry is a feminist, pro-people poetry event that has been supporting women and everyone for four years. On the spot poetry tasks, special guests and ridiculousness abound.
At this event we are looking into our relationship with our bodies, encouraging people to write self portraits of the body, or people can read tribute poems on the theme by favourite female identified authors.
We love it when people respond to the theme and we will be putting prompts up on stirredpoetry.wordpress.com, but we also welcome slots from first time open micers, or anyone who wants to read, please email or join the facebook event under Stirred Poetry.
