Ambit have created a new regular poetry event, the New Voices Open Mic. Half the evening will showcase live music and featured poets, with the other half dedicated to giving new poetic voices a platform to read their work.
This first event will feature readings from Malene Engelund, George Jackson, and Ralf Webb, and live music from Lail Arad.
There's a limited number of open mic slots available - there will be a sign-up sheet at the door, and it's first come first serve!
Located in the basement bar of Ambit's regular haunt, The Sun and 13 Cantons, with a bar open till late. £3 entry, free for open mic readers.
Entry: £3 free for readers
