An evening of poetry and music. The event features poet Zaffar Kunial just returned from a successful reading tour after the publication of his first pamphlet in the Faber New Poet’s series. He is the 2014 Poet in Residence at the Wordsworth Trust and was one of the winners in the National Poetry Competition in 2012. He comes from Birmingham, but has more recently lived in West Yorkshire where he was a member of Ian Duhig’s writing group and a full time creative writer with Hallmark Cards. He will be supported by popular local musician Bob Bell’s vocals and guitar.Open Mic by lucky dip - leave your name at the door. M/C Antony Christie.
