Iliassa Sequin
grand daughter of a greek immigrant to the US killed by gangsters in Chicago. lived in Athens, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Stockholm and the Yorkshire dales - presently lives in east London. Body of work is arranged in the form of sets of quintets written from 1971 to the present day. Prior to then wrote plays and long poems on papyrus rolls.
Published work has been in a variety of small magazines and literary journals in the US and Europe - scarcely anything in England.

Anthony Costello
Anthony Costello gave up his job as a gardener in 2011 to travel and write. His travels took him to New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Southeast Asia and France. His poetry has appeared in magazines in Australia, America, Austria, France, Ireland and England. 'The Mask', his first collection of poems, is published in September 2014 by Lapwing Publications, Belfast.

Alain English
Alain English is an actor and a poet and was born in Alexandria on the coast of Loch Lomond. He was raised in Aberdeen, where he was taught theatre and poetry by drama teacher Annie Inglis. He gained a Publishing Degree from Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen and moved to London in late 2005 to train as an actor.

In 2007 he took up poetry, building on the speech and drama skills learned in Aberdeen. He found an advert for an open-mic in Whitechapel and then began open-micing across London. He has since featured at many nights and poetry slams across London, and now hosts Paper Tiger Poetry 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall.

John Welch
Born in 1942, John Welch has been living in Hackney since the early 1970s. His Collected Poems appeared from Shearsman in 2008 and two more collections have appeared since then. He has recently been working with the Iraqi poet Abdulkareem Kasid on English versions of his poems.
