The Burgess Foundation welcomes Giuseppe Albano, curator of the Keats-Shelley house in Rome, to give a free public talk and Q&A session about Keats and Burgess.

Using Burgess's ABBA ABBA as a starting point, Giuseppe's talk will focus on the re-imagining of Keats and Rome, who in his frail consumptive state had come to the city in the hope that the climate would alleviate his suffering.

Giuseppe Albano is of Italian heritage and was born and raised in Scotland. Curator of the Keats-Shelley House in Rome, he is also the author of the preface to the Italian edition of ABBA ABBA (Robin Edizioni, 2012). Contact events@anthonyburgess.org to reserve your place.
