Martin Slidel introduces the first of Playerist Poetry Magazine's quarterly Poetry Evenings at The Poetry Society (The Poetry Cafe), Covent Garden.
The cafe is open all afternoon so arrive early and relax with some great food and drink - check the map - it's central but tucked-away!
All absolutely fantastic performers and brilliant readings - supported by the immensely talented folk singer Skopje, and closing with the simply wonderful vocals of Melissa James. It's really going to make for a very memorable night.
