Swans, handsome cannibals, confronting the past in Latvia, censorship and imaginary boyfriends... Funhouse and PEN Atlas present a series of readings that explore body, borders and place.

Come and hear the 'delicate rhythmic trip wires' of Kayo Chingonyi, whose collection, Kumukanda, will be published in June; Xiaolu Guo's searing and rebellious memoir, Once Upon a Time in the East, exploring the everyday peculiarity of China and the UK; Eli Goldstone's debut novel of 'savage tenderness', Strange Heart Beating; the bodily writing of Sophie Mackintosh, Jenna Clake and Susannah Dickey, whose work features in the third issue of Funhouse.
